NUIG and Orbsen made a number of presentations relating to AUTOSTEM at the ISCT Annual Conference in London on 3 to 6 May. Prof Frank Barry presented during the session on “State of the art in European MSC clinical trials“. Prof Barry’s paper was entitled “MSC Biology and Manufacturing Challenges“.
There were also 2 poster presentations:
- “The Autostem platform for closed manufacture of bone marrow derived mesenchymal stromal cells using a closed, scalable and automated robotic system” (Mary Murphy et al).
- “Novel macrocarrier system for the scalable 3D expansion of bone marrow derived MSCs isolated and expanded in a novel zeno free medium” (Sean Gaynard et al).
